Martha Nursing School
The Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) course offered at our institution is a two-year diploma program designed to train students in providing basic nursing and midwifery care, particularly in rural and community settings. The course focuses on maternal and child health, family planning, immunization, health education, and first aid. Students undergo both classroom instruction and hands-on practical training, including a mandatory six-month internship.
Martha Nursing Training School is proud to be the first nursing training institution in the TCL region, creating local opportunities for students aspiring for a career in nursing. By delivering quality, affordable nursing education, MNTS empowers future healthcare professionals and strengthens the region’s healthcare system.
Mental Health & Wellbeing Program at Dikom High School
On September 10, 2024, Bethel Life Care Charitable Trust (BLCCT) organized an “Awareness and Counseling on Mental Health & Wellbeing of Children and Adolescents” program at Dikom High School, Dibrugarh, Assam, for World Suicide Prevention Day. With the keynote by Ms. Washima Rahman (Technical Consultant, BCP-UNICEF), the event focused on resilience, stress management, and mental wellness with practical activities for over 250 participating students.

Achievements of Martha Nursing Training School
Six batches graduated with 100% pass rate. Every graduate placed successfully—private hospitals, PHC, CHC—demonstrating MNTS’s excellence in professional healthcare education. International Placement: Two graduates have secured jobs in Japan, showcasing global recognition for training standards.
Placements ❄️ Ngunlik Bangsia - After completing ANM at MNTS and Japanese language training, placed as a caregiver in Japan, earning about 210,000 JPY/month. Her inspiring journey reflects resilience and BLCCT’s commitment to student success. ❄️ Hunali Yongkuk - Completed ANM (2019–2021) with 61%, then Japanese caregiver training in Delhi. Placed with PLUS HEART Co., Ltd. in Japan, earning approx 164,260 JPY/month.
Clinical Exposures
❄️ Educational visit: Water Treatment Plant, Old Age Home, Golden Pagoda, and De-Addiction Centre at Marua and Namsai for skill building and community understanding. ❄️ Six-month clinical exposure at Assam Medical College, Dibrugarh: Final-year ANM students gain practical expertise with real patient care and medical procedures.
Internship Programs
❄️ BSW students from Martin Luther Christian University: April 1–May 28, hands-on community work with BLCCT, Jairampur. ❄️ Ms. Phena Wangpan (Arunachal University of Studies): March 12–July 14, community development internship with BLCCT. ❄️ Ms. Celina Lungphi (Women’s College, Shillong): 15-day NEP internship, practical learning. ❄️ Ms. Nemnu Tangha & Ms. Rachna Chetri (Gauhati Commerce College): 15-day NEP internship, grassroots exposure.

Nurses Day: Martha Nursing Training School celebrates Nurses Day every year to honor the dedication, compassion, and professionalism of nurses—highlighting their vital contribution to community healthcare. Freshers’ Day: A yearly celebration to welcome new students; featuring cultural programs and interactive activities, fostering a supportive, vibrant campus environment.
NCPCR Survey
MNTS conducted the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights survey; faculty and students engaged with community members, parents, and educators to understand issues concerning child rights and promote awareness.
Farewell Ceremony
MNTS hosts Farewell Ceremonies annually to honor outgoing batches. Filled with cultural programs and encouraging speeches, these mark both a close and a new beginning for new nurses.
